Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Codexier platform at codexier.se and the Codexier mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Services Overview

Codexier is an enterprise software development marketplace. Through the Platform, clients can:

• Browse and purchase productized software development services
• Submit custom project requests for tailored solutions
• Communicate with the Codexier team via built-in messaging
• Track project progress and manage deliverables
• Receive invoices and make payments securely

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Orders & Payments

When you place an order through the Platform, you agree to pay the listed price in Swedish Krona (SEK). All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

• Marketplace orders: Payment is collected at checkout via Stripe (credit/debit card). Work begins after successful payment.
• Custom orders: You submit a request with your requirements and budget. If approved, we provide a fixed price. Payment is collected upon your acceptance before work begins.
• Subscriptions: Monthly recurring services are billed automatically via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Invoice payments: Where available, invoice payment terms are net 14 days from the invoice date.

5. Refund Policy

We are committed to client satisfaction. Our refund policy is as follows:

• Before work begins: Full refund available within 48 hours of payment
• During development: Partial refund may be issued based on work completed, at our discretion
• After delivery: We offer a 14-day revision period. If the deliverable does not meet the agreed specifications, we will revise it at no additional cost
• Subscriptions: No refunds for partial billing periods. Cancel before the next billing date to avoid charges

Refund requests should be directed to support@codexier.se with your order reference number.

6. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, the client receives full ownership of all custom code, designs, and deliverables produced for their project, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Codexier retains the right to use open-source libraries and frameworks in deliverables
• Codexier may reference the project in portfolio materials (company name and general description only) unless the client opts out in writing
• The Codexier brand, logo, platform design, and proprietary tools remain our property

7. Client Responsibilities

To ensure successful project delivery, clients agree to:

• Provide clear and complete project requirements
• Respond to questions and review requests in a timely manner
• Provide necessary access, credentials, or assets when required
• Not use delivered work for illegal purposes

Delays caused by late client feedback may affect delivery timelines. We will communicate any impact and work with you to adjust schedules.

8. Service Level & Delivery

Timelines provided for each service are estimates based on typical project complexity. We make every effort to deliver on schedule. If delays arise on our end, we will notify you promptly and provide a revised timeline.

All communication and deliveries happen through the Platform unless otherwise agreed. Project status, files, and messages are accessible through your client dashboard.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law:

• Codexier's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost revenue or data)
• We do not guarantee that the Platform will be available without interruption or error-free

10. Confidentiality

We treat all client project details, business information, and communications as confidential. We will not share your information with third parties except as required to deliver services (e.g., payment processing) or as required by law.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Submit fraudulent orders or payment information
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Harass, abuse, or send inappropriate messages to staff
• Attempt to access other users' data or circumvent security measures
• Use the Platform for any activity that violates Swedish or EU law

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through the Swedish courts. For EU consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may also apply.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
